Artist's Description

My father took this picture in about 1952 or 1953. This bus route replaced the original streetcar from the Tennessee Williams play (and later movie starring Marlon Brando), A Streetcar Named Desire. It's a wonderful, dynamic photo, and I couldn't resist sharing it here - I think it would look incredible as wall art, whether you're a fan of New Orleans, books, plays, movies, or just nostalgic city scenes. Thanks Dad, for having a wonderful eye.

You will note the full resolution preview will look soft and there is dust and filaments and scratches. It was scanned at high resolution from the original 60 year old snapshot.
