Artist's Description

My version of a real place in British Columbia. The dam was decommissioned, and a hole was broken out at the base of it so the water could flow out. The river carved out an island in the rocks and trees, and left an abandoned pumphouse with a single pine growing out of it. Digital image by Cynthia Decker.
